Description
1930's New York Yankees game used worn road uniform of catcher Joe Glenn with game used H&B bat. Matching jersey and pants made by Spalding is most likely from Joe Glenn's brief stint as a back up catcher to Yankees great Bill Dickey in 1932 or 1933. The name "GLENN" is stitched in red thread in the collar of the shirt and in the waist of the pants. With the exception of the New York on the front being professionally restored the jersey is all original. The number 12 on the back appears to be all original although I can find no listing of Joe Glenn wearing number 12. The 1930's vintage game used Louisville Slugger is uncracked 35" long. Bat and uniform originally obtained from uniform and bat expert Dave Bushing. This uniform and bat would make a great display from the days of Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig and other Yankees legends. 7 day money back with all of my auctions. Insurance is required. Good luck in your bidding!!
