1932 SIGNED BASEBALL BY BABE RUTH & 8 OTHER HOFs / PSA Description 100% GUARANTEED AUTHENTIC1932 YANKEE TEAM BASEBALL SIGNEDBY BABE RUTH AND 8 OTHER HALL OF FAMERS! This is an authentic 1932 Spalding [DC/LS/TM] Official National League Baseball (JAH) signed by 24 members of the 1932 Spring Training New York Yankees, which comes with a Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA Authentication Services, one of the top two authenticators in the country. The condition of the ball is very good with no damage. Most of the signatures are legible and some are hard to read. See the pictures. A black steel tip fountain pen was used for all the other players, and Babe Ruth's signature is in red. The year 1932 is also written in red. Signatures include Hall of Fame Inductees BABE RUTH, LOU GEHRIG, BILL DICKEY, EARLE COMBS, TONY LAZZERI, JOE SEWELL and CHARLES RUFFING. The history of this ball from the owner is that he employed and befriended a man by the name of Tom Robbins in 1974 in Houston, Texas. Mr. Robbins was the personal bat boy of Babe Ruth who gave him two signed balls in Spring Training. (The other 1934 Rawlings Official National League Baseball is also offered in a separate auction). When Mr. Robbins became ill, he gave these balls to the owner a couple of years before be died in appreciation for his help and friendship.
