Description
MAKE AN OFFER !Here is an authentic inaugural team photo from the NEW YORK LIBERTY WNBA basketball team.Overall, it measures about 12" x 15" x 1 1/4".  It is in PRISTINE condition, and framed in a really nice DARK BLUE frame.  This would be a nice accompaniment piece to the inaugural program I have listed on eBay right now. This item dates back to 1997, which was the first year of the team's existence. As you can see I also have the original Certificate of Authenticity ( COA ) which was issued by MADISON SQUARE GARDEN.  The COA also has a seal embossed on it.The photo was signed by R. Blades, C. Compton, S. Edwards, K. Ford, K. Hampton, V. Johnson, R. Lobo, J. Terazie-Gipe, T. Trice, T. Weatherspoon, S. Wicks, S. Witherspoon. You will also notice the team members added their uniform / team numbers as well.Oh, did I mention, this item is in PRISTINE condition :)The piece will be packed carefully to protect it during shipment against the gorilla carriers :) I encourage you to read my ABOUT ME page by clicking HERE. You also might be interested in looking at my auctions that ended recently that did not sell, by clicking HERE. SHIPPING:Buyer to pay $8 shipping/handling/insurance within the continental USA (Sorry, USA shipping addresses only, unless prior agreement with me before you bid).Where possible I will try to combine multiple purchases into one shipment to save you on shipping costs.Items shipped after payment clearing MY bank.  Please note that this is not a full-time endeavor for me and I do have other responsibilities.  I always try to get these items shipped ASAP, but it might take a few days or perhaps as much as a week for me to get your item shipped out, depending upon many factors.I do not charge for my time (packing, shipping, toting to Post Office, emailing, etc.), nor do I charge for packing materials (boxes, bubble-wrap, tape, "fragile" stickers, labels, markers, peanuts, styrofoam, etc.).  The charge that I list for "shipping" is based upon 10+ years' experience of doing this.  My policy is to quote a fixed price in order to keep it simple.  I generally ship items via USPS Priority Mail, but unless specifically mentioned in the listing then it would be my option to go for another method.  If I know that I'm sending it to you via Priority, then I'll probably indicate that in the listing. PAYMENT:Personal checks and money orders.  I sometimes accept PayPal, depending upon the expected sales price.  They charge a hefty fee to use that service and I don't always want to pay it.  If the listing options below show PayPal, then obviously I'm accepting it for this particular auction.  If you send a USPS (that's United States Postal Service) money order, then you can expect the quickest turnaround.Payments not received within 10 days from end of auction - buyer risks right to purchase and appropriate feedback. Don't hesitate to email me at seth212@aol.com with any questions.BIDDING:Bidders with either NET negative feedback or a zero (0) rating must email me before bidding. I reserve the right to cancel your bid otherwise.Make sure you re-review the entire listing, including questions/answers, before placing your bid since the listing might have additional information added later which comes up at the very bottom of the listing. The WNBA was officially approved by the NBA Board of Governors in 1996 and was announced at a press conference with Rebecca Lobo, Lisa Leslie, and Sheryl Swoopes in attendance. The WNBA is the only league to receive full backing of the NBA. The WNBA logo, "Logo Woman", paralleled the NBA logo and was selected out of 50 different designs. On the heels of a much-publicized gold medal run by the 1996 USA Basketball Women's National Team at the '96 Summer Olympic Games, the WNBA began its first season in June 1997. The league began with eight teams; the first WNBA game featured the NEW YORK LIBERTY facing the Los Angeles Sparks The WNBA centered its marketing campaign, dubbed "We Got Next", around stars Rebecca Lobo, Lisa Leslie, and Sheryl Swoopes.
