You are bidding on a rare autographed March 22, 1963 issue of TIME Magazine. This is the first time that Cassius Marcellus Clay appeared on the cover of this prestiges magazine. At the time of this issue Muhammad Ali professional record was 19-0 and 10 months later he defeated Sonny Liston to win both the WBA/WBC Heavyweight Titles., a fight which he was not expected to win. This item is unique in that Muhammad Ali added the seldom seen inscription "aka" Cassius Clay, both signatures are bold and in black sharpie. Both signatures have been authenticated by PSA/DNA and were given the perfect grade of Gem Mint 10. From the "Rumble in the Jungle" to the "Thrilla in Manila" and Muhammad's style of "Float like a Butterfly and Sting like a Bee" with swift feet and great hand speed. Muhammad Ali remains the only man to have won the linear heavyweight championship three times. He also won the Gold Medal during the 1960 Summer Olympics games in Rome as a Light Heavyweight. And received the Presidential Medal of Freedom at a White House ceremony on November 9, 2005. This item has been double matted, framed and ready to display.
