Designed by Secretariat Inc. this bobblehead was released in 2003,  by Churchill Downs to commemorate our three 1970's era Triple Crown winners....Secretariat, Seattle Slew & Affirmed. There were 15,500 of these released (1-1000 was kept by Secretariat, Inc., 1001-5000 to a KY grocery store chain and 5001 and up, was for Churchill Downs, for the Churchill Downs promotion as give aways for those attending there and other Churchill owned tracks across the country.). This bobblehead is in mint condition in its' original box. There is a numbered COA that is a  color photo of Big Red, and the flip side has a synopsis of his life. The card is #2030 and is from the KY grocery store promo. Most of the mini-bobbles are from the Churchill Downs lot, this one is from the KY grocery and is much more in demand for collectors.  This is a fun thing for the Big Red fan or a nice collectable for the racing enthusiast. The bobblehead is in perfect shape, the card has a scratch on it, but other that that is fine (I scratched it with my box cutter when I opened the pkg.) It comes in its' original box, however the box was used when it was shipped to me. This mini-bobblehead will definately increase in value over time, espescially if you have one of the first 5000.
