Gray, A.L. Devens, Jr." Beautiful script hand-engraving. Marked on bottom "N.G. Wood & Sons, Boston" in a circle around the number "26". No other chops that I recognize. Tinned interior is very brite and shiny. Couple of minor scratches to front, peak of lid is slightly dimpled, no other dents. Hinge may have been repaired a long time ago (solder a bit more sloppy that I think the manufacturer would have allowed). 6 inches tall, 4 inches in diameter.
